Tiny Vices

Tim Barber, 27, grew up in Amherst Massachusetts, lived in the mountains of Northern Vermont and went to school for four years in Vancouver B.C. Once completing his studies he then moved to New York City where he landed a photo editor post for Vice magazine. During his two-year stint working for the publication he encountered an impressive variety of talent from across around the world, so much so that in 2006 he decided to pursue a freelance career and tinyvices.com was conceived, an accessible showcase for his own and other photographers’ work. It functions as a community publication, an editorial project, an art gallery and archive.
Tim Barber spotlights the works of photographers and illustrators via his very own online gallery at www.tinyvices.com. Young up and coming artists join the ranks of established names including Ryan McGinley, Richard Kern, Boogie, Jerry Hsu... The site is transformed onto the walls of colette and to celebrate, a special limited-edition fanzine titled "Highschool" by Tim Barber (edited by Nieves) has been published.
