After the fantastic success of Hot Waves Volume 1, released earlier this year, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Richy Ahmed's Hot Waves digital imprint release the second compilation of intergalactic house and restrung disco-tech from some of the hottest burgeoning young producers on the scene.
Hot Waves is the digital imprint wing to its older brother: Hot Creations. Jamie, Lee and Richy have been sourcing new tracks for the album all summer, virtually all of which have become stalwarts in their celebrated sets this Summer. Hot Waves serves as a great introduction to many young producers who after releasing on Hot Waves have gone on to release on Hot Creations and other likeminded labels. The compilation features nineteen new killer tracks, four of which appear in the limited vinyl sampler (HWT002) to accompany the album.
Hot Natured's Jamie Jones and Lee Foss unveil some exciting new talent in this collection. Sharing an ethos of funk-infused basslines, disco samples and killer beats and subsonic house, they've compiled a great compilation epitomising the new underground house sound that's proved so popular this year.
