Sneakers in black matt leather and ethnic-print canvas. Waxed cotton laces. Black rubber sole.
Creative director Alber Elbaz and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, managed to combine all summer 2012 trends in about 40 silhouettes. Although staying true to the codes established five years ago by the two designers, this season’s looks become utterly masculine. In a both military and fluid spirit, the knitwear is light weighted and the volumes are reinterpreted. The plain, over dyed tones are perfectly mixed with the soft tailoring line, proving that Lanvin remains one the most acclaimed show for a good reason.
